Language can sometimes be a barrier, preventing deeper connection. It often feels more limiting than liberating. That’s why I choose art over words for communication. My journey with drawing began at a young age, driven by a need to escape into quiet spaces. There, I could immerse myself in the act of creation.

Curiosity has fuelled my ongoing education. This journey has taken me across different countries, from my homeland to England and France. Along the way, I studied art history and fine arts. It’s been challenging but deeply rewarding. Over time, my love for art grew. I also developed a fascination with materials, which allowed me to experiment and push boundaries in my work.

In addition to creating art, I find joy in teaching. I’ve been teaching for over 30 years, and it’s a core part of my life as an artist. I enjoy helping learners discover the creative process and watching their visual identities emerge. Teaching drawing and painting allows me to share art’s visual language, which connects us on a deeper, more intuitive level. As an educator, my goal is to help students unlock their unique artistic voices while nurturing their skills and appreciation for art.
